The newly elaborated design nicknamed "Shadowpiercer" is derived from the original Alppiercer design and carries the base colour of the lesser MRCE. Also typical of Railcolor's design is the naming of the locomotives, which now bear the names and layout of the Swiss lakes on all four corners. The Vectron fleet is equipped with the country packages Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and the Netherlands (DACHINL).
