A locomotive from the former 1600/1800 series of the Dutch Railways (NS). After a thorough refurbishment and a new paint job, she was christened "Nicole". It is currently regularly used to transport machinery and infrastructure equipment to support work on the Dutch railways. Strukton's aim is to equip the electric locomotives with batteries so they can run autonomously on lines without overhead wires. Work plans for the conversion are currently being implemented.
